Granville Centre is positioned in Annapolis County, on the shores of the Annapolis River. Granville Centre can be found traveling on the scenic Evangeline Trail on the northern portion of Nova Scotia's mainland. Jean Brun was one of the first settlers to arrive in Granville Centre, sometime in the early 1700s. A main industry in Granville Centre is agriculture, and lumbering is a moderate industry, as well.
