Delap's Cove is located in Annapolis County, at the Annapolis Royal/Bridgetown region of the Evangeline Trail. In the early days of Delap's Cove, and due to the fact that the town is situated over infertile basalt rock, much of the land was granted to Black Loyalists. In fact, in 1871 a census had confirmed that of 71 inhabitants, only one family was not black. Today, Delap's Cove is primarily a tourist destination and fishing community. Delap's Cove is situated just 2.2 km (1.4 mi.) north of Annapolis Royal.

Delap's Cove is home to the Delap's Cove Wilderness Trail, a 130-acre range of canopied forest. While on the trail, be sure to have an eye out for rare, breath-taking birds, as well as for the lush terrain. Nearby Delap's Cove, hike the Bohaker trail, Charlies Trail, or the Shore Road Trail, all of which are modest in length and include a 43 ft (13 m) waterfall. Located minutes from the Bay of Fundy, Delap's Cove is an excellent spot to simply watch some of the World's highest tides roll in and out, absorb the bay view and watch a spectacular sunset.

Delap's Cove accommodations include campgrounds.
