Marion Bridge, located in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality, is the half-way point along the Mira River while traveling on Route 327. Marion Bridge was named after a bridge in the town that crosses over the Mira River, but the original bridge collapsed after it was destroyed accidentally by a snow plow. Marion Bridge is located just 20.1 km (12.5 mi.) away from Sydney.

Marion Bridge is also the town mentioned in a popular country song written by Allister MacGillivray, which is called Song for the Mira and with lyrics that read "I'll trade ten of your cities for Marion Bridge, and the pleasure it brings."

Marion Bridge is home to Two Rivers Wildlife Park, a large park featuring natural trails, a fishing pond, wagon or pony rides, pedal boat rentals, a beach volleyball area, a swimming area and glorious Mother Nature. Rent canoes and go on canoe trips up the river, via a canoe tour. The Mira Gala is another reason to visit Marion Bridge, for its street parade, auctions, barbecues, musical acts, theatre, a car show, a canoe race and on it goes.

Marion Bridge accommodations include campgrounds and cottages.
