Carlos Cove can be found on the south eastern shores of Nova Scotia's mainland in Guysborough County. Carlos Cove is specifically situated on the northern shores of Tor Bay, along beautiful Marine Drive (Highway 16). Carlos Cove was settled around 1760, by a group of Acadian settlers and later named in honour Charles Richard who was among that first group of settler. A main industry at Carlos Cove is fishing. As well, Carlos Cove is positioned a total driving distance of 32.3 km (20.1 mi.) southeast of the community of Guysborough.

Carlos Cove has much to offer, including grand views of the Atlantic Ocean, a beautiful coastline and spectacular sunrises.
